Been awhile...

since I have been on here.  Nothing much has been going on, just been trying to get in two walks a day with Maddie and playing outside as much as possible since the weather has been so nice.  Haven't even finished up that cute pleated purse I've been wanting to do.  I have made a couple of head band covers though but nothing much else.  Oh and we did make a bird mobile too.  Forgot about that.  

I pulled out this old cage we used for a frog we had years ago and Maddie has kind of turned it into her bug terrarium.  No plants growing in it though but lots of dirt and grass.  She has a couple crickets, some rolly pollies, meal worms, earth worms, snails and even a little snake.  The snake is about as big as the earthworm is.  lol  She loves that thing and is constantly asking to find more bugs even though if some bug lands on her or flies by her she has to do her death cry!   She is so silly!!!  

We also went downtown for a bit yesterday and they were just getting things ready for the carnival.  I am hoping that we will get to take her this year.  They aren't open during the day but start around 4p or so.  Hoping to get to the carnival tonight or Friday afternoon. Sat it is supposed to rain but I am praying it won't.  Although she still won't be able to go that day since I have signed her up in advance for Lowe's Build and Grow and we will be making a cute bird feeder.  I think she will have a lot of fun doing that!  Got some cute pics of her downtown too.  She is looking so grown up and even has that teenage attitude already.  Guess she is just practicing.
