Rambling Thursday

Ok, this will truly be a Rambling Thursday.

First off I guess I want to say that I am really loving this blogging thing.  I love how there are so many different types of blogs out there for everyone!!  I really need to stop trying to find ways to be as good as some of them and stop worrying about how many followers I have and how many people have visited my blog.  This was started mainly for me to have a place to come and vent, say what was on my mind and share stuff about Mad with the family.  Lately it has turned into work and I don't like that especially when I don't get paid for it it takes time away from Mad and keeping the house clean.

I never said I was a literature major either so I have to stop thinking that how I am wording things and writing them all out is so wrong.  Who cares if people can't figure out my rambling then I guess they don't have to read it.  When I first started this there was no rhyme or reason to my posts, then I got in with a few things, started doing Crafty Tuesday, which I am not sure if anyone else has, but still I just haven't been that crafty lately and I love Memory Lane Friday but I just don't always have the best stuff to write about.  I was told I could have my own theme and I just might do it that way but I won't be able to let people know because I prob won't know until something hits me just right.

I used to spend way too much time on FB and now I am spending way too much time trying to figure out what to write about to get people to come read.  I need to get back to doing it with whatever just pops into my head.  So..... last night I was trying to finally get some bible study time in and I found this
copied from Bible Gateway

Ephesians 1:17-19 (Today's New International Version)

17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit [a] of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength

For some reason this really touched me.  I think it is something I need to use as a daily prayer for myself.  Maddie was already asleep but I went in and prayed this over her but changing the 'you' to 'us'.    I need to find more time to actually sit down and have my time with God.  I haven't been doing that enough lately and I can really tell a difference when I don't get that time.

I have also found these great sites this week and thought I would share it with you all.
If anyone has actually read all this!   This was going to take place of my Rambling Thursday until I did my Bible study this evening.

I found this amazing site it is called Internet Cafe Devotions  It has wonderful Bible Study Resources.  I just thought that I would share it with everyone.  I found this really neat one called The Fulfilled Woman bible study, you can even download so you can have it anytime you need it even without internet access.  I just found this site this week but still haven't had a chance to see everything they have to offer.  It looks interesting though!

Oh there is also another great site called Christian Women Online  They have a lot of interesting also.  You should check them both out!

I think you are doing a great job here. I am happy when you post about our favorite gil and her doings. BTW I think you are a good Momma.
Have a fun weekend.

Thanks Aunt Patty!! I love ya!!
Yeah hoping to have a good weekend, Mad is staying with mom & Sharron and then Shane and I are going to eat at Red Robin (got a coupon for my birthday for free burger) and hopefully see Eclipse. Kind of a late birthday gift for me.

I went through the same thing! Wanting followers, wanting to be like the bigtime blog ladies, even make money on our blog. But I finally realized I needed to be thankful for any followers I had and go back to what I orginally started our blog for. I just want a place to document what's going on in our lives. Especially with Hailey. She is growing up so fast! I lobe looking back at when I was preggers and when she was a baby. So in the end, I think everything has those feelings. :)

Also that is a great Bible verse! Thank you for sharing.

I love reading your blog and I want to thank you for reading ours as well! :) Have a good night

lol! No worries on the misspelling, I do it all the time!!

I am glad that I am not the only one that feels that way. I used to use www.totsites.com for Maddie and still do but I have been getting bad about updating that since I started with FB and now this. Think I will get her last CD/DVD made from there and then cancel. For $20 they do a CD type thing of the whole site for you and I still have some from birth on there, I think, I usually have one made every year. I pay $5 a month there for a LOT of storage space but you can do it free. You should check it out!

Yeah I love that verse and so glad I found it!
