Maddie has been begging for an Easy Bake Oven for as long as I can remember so her Grandma got her one for Christmas this year. I know, many will say she is too young but she isn’t the one making it I am. She loves to mix the batter and pour it into the pan, then I slide it in and we wait. Once it is out I tell her we have to let it cool and then once it is cooled I dump it out and she frosts it. I am so glad that she got this because it is so much easier for her to make something small then for me to try to cut a recipe in half or fourths. She’s been having a lot of fun baking!

Nicole, I just adore her! She is so crazy, sweet & beautiful. I wish we lived closer because I think you & I have a lot in common & the kids would have a blast. You are such a good Mama & she is lucky to have you. BTW, Curtis helps me cook on the big stove all the time & he helped us can applesauce too. They are never too young to start learning & if they enjoy it then I say go for it! Safely, of course ;)

How neat that Curtis helps you can already. It is never too early to teach them and it is always great for boys to learn too, so I am proud that you do that! ;)
Yeah I had a few people, not naming names, say she was too young for it. We thought it was fine because we don't let her do it on her own, I am always with her. You just have to use your own judgment.
How fun! And I bet the little cakes taste better now than they did when i was a kid!
Yall got an easy bake oven too!? The easy bake oven portion size is probably what we all should be eating! We made our first two biter cake the other night...YUM
You didn't get an oven tool? Booo... we did some how manage to lose the instructions too so wasn't sure how much water to add to the recipes but I just added it until it looked right.
Biter cakes is right! We have a few more she wants to do but we just haven't done them yet. and yes, I know that's the size I need to be eating instead. We usually don't bake for that reason! lol
