I have still been crocheting a bunch but this weeks Crafty Tuesday I decided to show a necklace I made. I went to a jewelry show a friend of mine had and the jewelry was gorgeous! I am just so cheap frugal that I can’t see spending $50 on a necklace that isn’t real! So… I brought home the catalog they gave us to order from and I looked at the necklace I wanted and decided to make my own. Now, it’s not exactly the same, I used what beads I had but it looks very close to it.
Here’s the necklace I wanted, (and just now searched and found for $12 on ebay… hmm… now that I can do!)
and here’s mine…
It only took me about 5 hours to make it. lol I used headpins for each one and bent them and then attached it to the next set. That’s why it took so long! Now I just need to find a pendant to add to it. Made it long enough so you can double it.
