As my family and some of my friends on FB know, I am now a gun lover. I have never had any problems with guns before, grew up in a house that always had them, my brother is a cop, the chief of police, and my father was a reserve cop many years ago. To me guns are a normal thing to have. I have shot them growing up and since I got married, he too is a gun lover. I have shot with my husband some in the 15 years we have been together but not until this past year did I really start loving them and shooting more often. From time to time now I will be writing about the things I am learning and new ones I am finding and loving. (and I’m still learning the lingo so bare with me)
So this past Saturday my husband and I went to Wanenmacher’s Tulsa Arms Show. It really is the world’s biggest gun show! It was so crowded and had a lot of firearms to look at. They mainly had really cool old collectibles and rifles, with a few handguns thrown in. Of course they also had tons of ammo, targets, holsters and anything you might need.
We have always wanted to go but have never made it so we decided since Maddie was staying with her grandma then we would give it a try. The price was only $10 to get in and you could go and come back if you needed to. There was a variety of people there, from the younger to older, single and family. We didn’t get much, I got a Concealed Carry Purse and a simple little IWB (in waist band) holster and there was this gorgeous gun, a Ruger SR9C we were really looking at. We decided not to get it but mainly because the one they had at the table was the only one they had, and with so many people handling it, it had some scratches and little marks on it. For the price they wanted we can find it for that price or cheaper any day around here too. So.. that just might be our next one pretty soon!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend as well!!

so which purse did you get, the one that is linked to concealed carry purse?
Yep, that's the one! Sent you a reply in your email. :)
How cool! My love of guns has been increasing in the past 2 years as well! We both have our license and I also have a Ruger lcp, but I still like the Glock better.
I'm glad you had fun. That picture also makes me VERY glad I wasn't there!
