Well… I know I haven’t been posting much lately. Not really because we aren’t doing much but because we are doing a lot and then I just don’t have the time to post. I was looking back at some of my old posts and I guess I need to get back into the habit of just getting on and using it as my journal. Seems to me I had a lot more to write about and say when I did it that way instead of worrying about the writing style, grammar, whatever.
Mad’s still enjoying school which is great. When I pick her up and ask her what she did/learned that day she just says…’the weather’ Always try to find out what else and she just says, ‘that’s all.” She has a little boyfriend, but we keep doing our best to remind her that she is still young and has plenty of time for boys, so just have ‘friends’ instead. She just rolls her eyes and says, ‘Whatever mom’
In Novemeber Oklahoma was having a lot of earthquakes. On the 5th or 6th, can’t remember the exact date, we had a pretty good one, shook the whole house and caused some damage to our shop floor out back. Other than that we were fine. A lot of others, that were closer, had some pretty good damage. It was my first time experienceing an earthquake and was just wondering what in the world was going on! Mad did pretty well but then again, she didn’t know what was going on either.
We had a great Thanksgiving and got to spend it with my in-laws and their young neighbors that Maddie just adores. They have a little 9 month old boy that Mad is just in love with! (would share some pics of them but haven’t asked so I better not)
My mom had the opportunity to go to Vegas so over Thanksgiving that is where she was. Sounds like she had a blast though!
So… here’s just some random shots I have taken lately… nothing much but just thought I would share.(click the pics to make them bigger)
Some birthday gifts for some twins in Mad’s class
Some fun at our lake. Been a bad year and had a drought.. in the second and third pic, that is usually covered with water.

Hi Nicole,
I do remember hearing about your earthquake in the news. That's quite a serious crack in your shop floor. Will you need to get that fixed at some point? I guess it doesn't matter as long as the building is still solid :) :) :)
You little girl is really starting to turn into a stylish young lady :) :) Oh, and the kitty cat is just too cute ;) :) It's tail reminds me a bit of raccoon, but whatever...cats are cats and they're cute :) Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)
