Sorry I haven’t been posting much lately, I have been a little busy and I feel like one of Santa’s little Elves!  This year for Christmas I decided to do handmade gifts.  Unfortunately since most the family reads this I can’t really share what I have been making.  I have been having a lot of fun doing them but it does take some time to make everything.  At least it has been something I enjoy doing though!

Plus I have been making some of my crochet wire jewelry and took some up to a salon where my friend works at, which I will share more on later, and they have been selling fairly well!  Here’s a link with a little info on them if anyone is interested.  (It’s up in my pages)
 
I went to Hobby Lobby on Friday and got 3 spools of wire and I am already out!  That stuff is kinda pricey and I use so much of it that it’s hard to keep a decent supply on hand.  We don’t have a Hobby Lobby in our little town which is a good and bad thing.  I hate that when I run out I have to wait for the weekend to get more but if we had one in town I don’t think Shane would be too happy with how much I was there!!  ;)

I also know that I really need to stop spending so much time on this computer!  IT is really taking too much time away from my bible study and from our family.  I really love reading everyone's blogs thought but when I start reading my favorite ones it seems like I have already been on here half the morning, so I have decided to cut back just a little bit.  Spend more time with my Father, Maddie and getting this house clean.

Sorry I haven’t had very interesting stuff lately, it’s just been busy around here.  Just getting things ready for Thanksgiving so that means we have been doing a lot of crafting too.  I have also been making some crocheted stocking caps and some other types of necklaces.  (hoping to post about them on Tuesday)  Maddie has had a lot of fun making some painted turkeys with her hand and also painted some fall trees.  We have been reading a lot more lately too and I have just been trying to spend less time on the computer too.  I was getting sucked in again and needing to take a little break from it since it was taking away from my family time.

Just thought I would stop in and say hi and hope everyone is having a great weekend!
