Saturday Maddie and I headed to Cato’s to check out some sales.  I found a few cute things for me but I still didn’t like their prices.. guess I’m used to shopping at Ross, but I ended up finding a very cute top for Maddie for four dollars!  Couldn’t pass that up and just had to get it.

Then later on after having some lunch we headed off to Wal-mart.  She was on the search for some more marbles since a kid at her daycare brings his, she had to get some more.  
I just love how she is carrying her purse and looking so grown up!

she found 1 bag of marbles.. well kind of.  The bag was empty and only half the marbles were in the box.  So upset!  (daddy found some later in the day and brought them home for her )

 

Searching for something else to take the place of those precious marbles. 

She finally found some little Barbie something and was so happy!!  Hoping they don’t end up lost like the ones she got just last week.

Nothing much new has been going on besides the usual.   Play some in the morning, off to daycare, get ready for work, work, home, laundry, sleep, repeat… Mad’s really been having fun at daycare, which is a good thing, but she still wants me to quit my job and stay home with her.  I have to admit there are a lot of times I agree! 

Wednesdays we still do story time and then we go out to eat afterwards, she is really loving that!!

This is from our meal at Arby’s… she’s really enjoying that sandwich!  Then she realized it had tomatoes on it!  She loves tomatoes!

A spider we saw outside of Walgreens.  Googled it when we got home and it says it’s an immature black widow.  Hadn’t seen one like that before

 

A little skink I found out in the shop when I was heading to work.  Isn’t he cute!?!  Smallest one I’ve seen.

(I don’t wear my wedding ring to work anymore since last time I lost a diamond the last time I worked there… )

This dress is so cute… I sure miss the days of staying home and sewing all day.

New Summer Cut

I decided the other day that I wanted to get a hair cut, just a little shorter and cooler for the summer.  Maddie heard me talking and decided she wanted one too.  She also heard me tell my husband that it wouldn’t be too short because I still wanted to be able to pull it up so she wanted hers the same.

Works been going pretty well, just been busy!  Maddie is enjoying the time with her dad and loved that one day during my lunch break I came home and got in the pool with her!  I enjoyed it too but it was so hard to get out and head back to work! 

This was the end of May.. the total for the week I took Friday night 6.1.12

Museum of Osteology

Last Saturday we went to the Museum of Osteology.  Maddie has been wanting to go there for a while now so we finally got the chance to go last Saturday.  She had a blast! 

When we first pulled up it seemed like a small place but once we got inside there was a ton of skeletons to look at!  It was really interesting and something I think we will go back to!  The price was right too, $6 a person to get in and a lot of the stuff in the gift shop was reasonably priced as well.

Amazing how old some of these skulls are!

She had blast!  Something I highly recommend anyone in the area checking out!
