It's been a little bit since I have done a Memory Lane Friday and I am going with my own theme. Not sure what to call it so I will just call it 'The Spaghetti Pot Booster Seat'
I am sure there are many out there that remember when they were younger, too big for the high chair but not big enough for the big chair, that your mom or grandparents would bring out the huge spaghetti pot. Some times it was just the big Sears catalog and really fat phone book.
There are many times I can remember being at my grandma's for Christmas and having to use any of the things mentioned above. We never really thought anything about it then but when I was going through my mom's old photo albums I saw my little cousin sitting on a spaghetti pot at one of our Christmas dinner's at Great Grandma's and it just made me smile!! So funny how it seems every single one of us kids used that same 'spaghetti booster seat'

Oh how funny! We never used a spaghetti pot - least not that I can remember.
lol, yeah we used all sorts of things.. we were resourceful like that. ;)
Very cute! Growing up in our house we used telephone books! Usually 2 of the BIG White Pages! LOL!
Love, Cathy & her quads
Yep! and you had to be careful they didn't slide on each other and then you would slide off with them! lol
I love this! I think people used to be more resourceful than we are now (in general). They just used what they had, while we think we have to have everything. My grandma used to tie dishtowels around our necks when we didn't have bibs. My mom does the same now.
Great memory!
omg.. that is too cute.. i remember when my mom used to do that for us too.. maybe not a spag pot, but a phone book or small wash tub..
thanks for the trip back in time for a wonderful memory
GlowinGirl- I know! They were much more resourceful than we are now. My mom still does the towel too when Mad is going to be eating something really messy!
You're welcome Karen. Yeah I have been going through mom's albums and this one just made me laugh. Love looking at old pictures.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
