Haven’t really posted much lately.  I have been busy in our home, just trying to put the family first instead of putting the computer first! 

Maddie has been having a great time making new things and just having fun playing and coloring… with momma!

Here’s a few pictures of what we have been doing lately.

Making some crust for some yummy Peanut Butter pie. This time with Graham crackers for the crust, she had a blast bashing them!  (cell pics.. not the best)

and screaming as she was shaking it..

and we went to the Wildlife Expo they had several weeks ago.. she had a blast!

  We have been having a blast, and I am actually enjoying not being on the computer as much!  The guilt of not responding to everything on FB, posting everyday, reading blogs everyday is slowly going away as well.  Those that have families understand.. there are seasons for everything and right now my season is just relaxing.. not worrying so much about stuff and being a slave to my computer and blogs!

Almost there….

We had planned on being in NC on Sunday but we decided to do some site seeing in TN.  We have been having a pretty good trip so far.  Here’s just a few pictures… from OK to TN.

Well they are kind of like neighbors….

We have lived here for almost 7 years now.  I love our location!  Even though we are in town, we live on a dead end road and on the other side is a ravine.  We have had deer, wild turkey, of course opossums, raccoons, armadillos, skunks and we had some red foxes too.  Now we have these new ones come up, I looked them up and they are grey fox. 

I wish I could find the photos of all these animals, but that has been about 2 laptops ago so I am not sure where they are and I don’t really want to go searching on the external hard drive for them either… yep, I’m lazy like that!

Here’s the pics of the grey foxes though.  Not the best pictures, it was starting to get dark out.  They are eating the cats food!

Weekend fun

This past Sunday my niece had her birthday party.  Maddie loves going out to the farm to see her and play.  Even though it was raining and nasty they still had a lot of fun!

and she picked out a new kitten.  It is only about a week old now so we will get it when it is weaned.  The one she chose looks a lot like our kitty that died last year.  She has already named it ‘Stripey’.  Didn’t get any pictures but once we get it I will share pictures.

I posted some of the pictures yesterday from our wonderful weekend.  I went and spent Saturday and Sunday with my mom and we went to Ringwood. My aunt came down to visit and my cousin brought her so I got to see her for a bit too.  I love when we get to see them!!  It was a lot of fun and since we were in Ringwood I decided to go see my other grandma too.  I don’t get out there often enough to see her either.  Maddie had a great time visiting with her great grandparents, and great aunt and uncle and cousins too.

Maddie took the picture below all by herself.  Every time she goes to G’ma Vonna’s she has to bring these toys out.. Can’t believe it had been almost a year since we had been there!

This past weekend I went and stayed with my mom.  My aunt was coming down from KS for a visit one of her daughters brought her but she had to leave on Sat.    I was so thankful that I got to see her for the little bit I did.  I really miss them and love when we can get together.  Usually it’s just on the holidays so this was nice! 

I stayed with my mom Sat. and Sunday night and came home on Monday.  While I was there we went to the little bitty town I grew up in, where my grandparents still live, and I also got a chance to see my other grandma too.  Maddie sure had a great time with everyone!  Can’t wait to do it again!
