Our little day trip

Here is a slide show of all our pictures. Yeah, I took way too many but whenever we go to Lawton I just can't help it!! I decided to add them to a slide show because there was around 200 pictures! Here are a few that I really liked. We had a great time. Went to Lawton and went to the Wildlife refuge, Mt. Scott, Holy City and Medicine Park. Maddie had a great time! (sorry about the music on the video)

My little girl is coming home!!

They are leaving 'as early as they can' this morning so I hope it won't be too long after church before they get here. It's about an 8 hour drive from Iowa to Oklahoma though and since it is a holiday weekend it also depends on all the traffic.
Been missing her a lot!! She sounds like she is having a lot of fun though so that's good. We asked her if she missed us and she said, "Not yet" lol Silly girl! We sure miss her though! Poor aunt Tracy has been sick today and Uncle Kevin is having to take care of both the girls. He told me Maddie has enough energy for 4 people! I just laughed and said, "I KNOW!!" Glad they are having a great time and I am sure they will need a little vacation from Maddie after this! lol
Can't wait to get her back and hear all the stories she will have to tell us. She has a bucket of rocks for her daddy and not sure what else she has picked up along the way. Shane is off next week so hoping to go to Lawton sometime that week too. I have to have a tooth pulled on Tuesday, no fun, so going later in the week for Lawton so I can eat at our favorite spot along the way.. Jake's Rib! They have great food, huge portions and a great price! I can't find their website but I swear I have found it before. =(
We are going to go to Mt. Scott which is in Lawton and the Holy City!! Then we will go to another beautiful spot, Medicine Park which is very close to it. We used to go there every year for our anniversary and haven't been for awhile. Can't wait to go back! and to watch her see it for the first time!
