Hey everyone!  I know I haven't posted in a long time.  Life gets busy!
Maddie is almost done with 2nd grade already and growing up so fast!

I started a new job in November 2014 as a Purchasing Clerk, also became a Jamberry Independent Consultant and we are in the process of buying a new house!

Very busy!!

Just realized I haven’t really posted anything much about her birthday or party.  She had a blast!  Was great to have the family here, and a few of her friends.  She is growing up so fast and starting to look like a young woman and act like a teenager already!  She is a true blessing though, and definitely keeps things exciting around here! 

I can’t believe she is 5 already!!

Her beautiful Jewelry box.  She cried because her cousin got one for Christmas and she didn’t.  But she got 2 from my side of the family!  Then this one from Grammy because she felt bad about Christmas.  I think she’s good on jewelry boxes for a bit

 

Her cousin Lane that came.  She was so happy he showed up!! 

 

Then later on after her Aunt, Uncle & Cousin got done at team sorting they stopped by to wish Maddie and Happy Birthday and she, and one of her friends, got to ride!

 

And these are just 2 of her pretty outfits she got.  She is looking too cute and way too grown up!!

Pin It I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed the time they got to spend with family!  That's what I love the most about Christmas, getting together with family.

I just wanted to pop in and say hi, and say that yes I am still here... life has just been happening a lot more lately.  And right now, I have got to get going on cleaning up her room, getting rid of some old stuff to make room for new.  And her birthday is coming up in a few weeks too!!

Ok.. not doing the regular HHM post today because it would look the same as last week!  Nothing much has changed… need to get moving on more Christmas gifts.  Mad is off Thursday and Friday of this week so short school week for her, which means I need to get busy on the days she is gone! 

Getting excited for Christmas, and ready to spend some time with family!!  Mad is super excited as usual!  I have to remind her that it’s not all about the gifts!  She knows it is also about celebrating Jesus’ birth and all that He has done for us but you know…. she’s still just a kid and presents out way that excitement right now.  lol

Maddie always wants to sit in our gigantic sugar gum tree out front but I don’t like shoving her 50lb little self up there!  So.. I gave in the other day and shoved her up there!  I just thought I would share a few of the pictures I took.  She was dressed up in her Cowgirl clothes for Red Ribbon week and looked too cute!!  She’s growing up so fast!

and then I made her maple syrup last night too.  Sooooo yummy!  And sooo EASY to make! 

Since Maddie loves Nutella, the next batch I am thinking of adding half the batter to the pan,

then the Nutella, and then more pancake batter

Busy, busy, busy

I know I haven’t been posting lately.. sorry about that.  I haven’t even really been on the computer much the past 2 days!  I didn’t even get on until 9p tonight!  Ok.. so I checked some emails from my phone but that was it.. just emptying the junk out of it.

I have been really busy making up some more coffee cozies for one of our local coffee shops!  A friend of mine, that works in a salon, has let me put some of my stuff in the shop.  Another stylist bought one of my cozies and goes to the coffee shop a lot.  They saw it and asked where she got it and said they wanted to see what all I had!  I was shocked!  They are doing it as kind of a consignment.  I hope they will sell!  I want to call everyday to see if any have sold but I don’t want to bother them either.  lol  I am taking up some more I made tomorrow.   I would have made more but then I started on something else.. which I want to share soooo badly but can’t right now, and then that snowballed into some more stuff.  I am so excited since 2 of them are patterns I just came up with.. and of course didn’t write down.  I have to start writing them down!!

All I did on yesterday and today was clean and crochet.  When my wrist started hurting I took a break to clean then got right back at it.

Sorry I haven’t had very interesting stuff lately, it’s just been busy around here.  Just getting things ready for Thanksgiving so that means we have been doing a lot of crafting too.  I have also been making some crocheted stocking caps and some other types of necklaces.  (hoping to post about them on Tuesday)  Maddie has had a lot of fun making some painted turkeys with her hand and also painted some fall trees.  We have been reading a lot more lately too and I have just been trying to spend less time on the computer too.  I was getting sucked in again and needing to take a little break from it since it was taking away from my family time.

Just thought I would stop in and say hi and hope everyone is having a great weekend!
