Last Friday on Good Friday Maddie’s class got to go to one of the local nursing homes to sing for them and for an Easter egg hunt.  She had a blast and even got to take a picture with the Easter bunny!!  It is so nice that the school actually takes them to do Easter Egg hunts.  I am sure that will slow down and stop once she gets older and there starts to get more in her class so I am relishing it while I can! 

They had a ton of food at her party but she only ate a few bits of each thing.  All the kids begged for everything but most of it ended up in the trash!

The above picture is not mine.  I found it through a friend that shared it on FB.  It came from a lady named Melissa and you can find her photo and description on how to do it here.

So, the other day a friend of mine shared the above picture on FB.  I loved the idea so I thought we would give it a shot.  I would love for mine to look as pretty but I think it came out alright.  Mad had a blast putting it all together!  This is a wonderful project for Easter, or anytime really!  Praying the grass will start growing soon.

This is when we just got the grass seed planted and she thought it needed flowers until the grass starts to grow.  We still had to make the crosses too.


and here it is all done!  Think it turned out pretty well!

I found all my supplies… well OK, just the pot for the tomb and the container (tray) at Dollar Tree, the rest I had on hand.
