My little swimmer!

Pin It Maddie was starting to go under water last year in the pool and then this year when we set it up again, she didn’t really do it for a month or so… then she finally started going under again. Wednesday she had been going underwater and walking but then she would float up.  Today I told her she needed to just start kicking her feet when she did that.  She asked why and I told her because then she would be swimming!  It was on after that!!! 


All day today, we were in the pool twice, she was going under water and swimming around.  Granted she doesn’t get too far but it’s a start!!  Now she is constantly going under water and jumping off the ladder.  Oh, and she now dances under water and will clap her hands!  She is so funny!!

Pool Fun!

So proud of my water baby!

Pin It Just had to share this! I am so proud of Maddie, she is finally going under water!! On her own too!! I have been having her hold on to me and we both go under every day this week and then on Friday she decided to do it on her own. What a big girl!! She told me Me. Noodle taught her. Um, thanks.

(Mr. Noodle is her imaginary friend. She got the name from Sesame Street since there is a guy named Mr. Noodle on there.)
